About Sydney Wegner

My name is Sydney Wegner, and I’ve been an athlete my entire life. I played ice hockey at a competitive level, spending three years competing in NCAA Division I at Mercyhurst University. Currently, I’m finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology at the University of Florida. I hold a CrossFit Level 1 (CFL1) certification as well as CPR, AED, and BLS certifications. CrossFit has always been a part of my life - originally as a way to stay in shape during the off-season for hockey. Now, having retired from ice hockey, I’ve shifted my full focus to the CrossFit world and am more passionate than ever about pushing limits, learning, and growing in this space. One of the things I love most is how supportive, driven, and inspiring the CrossFit community is - it's truly unlike any other.
